András Szecskay is the founder and Managing Partner of Szecskay Attorneys at Law. His practice focuses on complex dispute resolution, including domestic and international litigation and arbitration under UNCITRAL, ICC, and ICSID rules. He is also recognised for his work in high-value and complex commercial, corporate, and cross-border investment matters, as well as intellectual property law.
Over the course of his career, András has advised leading domestic and multinational companies, investors, and public institutions across a range of markets, with particular experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, technology, retail, energy and environment sectors.
András has acted in more than 150 local and international arbitration proceedings as arbitrator, and in many others as counsel to one of the parties. He currently serves his fourth term as Vice President for International Relations of the Hungarian Bar Association, heads the Hungarian delegation to the CCBE, and served as President of MIE (the Hungarian Industrial Property and Copyright Association) between 2010 and 2026.
Beyond his legal practice, András is a longstanding supporter of music, literature, and contemporary art. He works fluently in English and Hungarian.
