András Szecskay, Managing Partner, has recently given an interview to ‘Art is Business’ magazine about his love of art, his long-standing friendships with contemporary artists and how art affects life and work in the law firm’s headquarter.
András’ passion for art goes beyond assisting numerous contemporary artists and foundations with legal advice. His love of art is much more than that. The headquarter of Szecskay Attorneys at Law is living proof of this. ‘Art is Business’ goes as far to say that the art collection in the office is reason to be envied by contemporary art galleries. The different pieces of art, among them paintings, sculptures and other installations, are an integral part of the office interior; and András has a special story to tell about every single piece. He spreads his passion among colleagues and clients with “hallway stories” and takes the opportunity to visit a museum, an artist’s birthplace, or a special exhibition on office and team trips. Based on all this, it is not surprising that the annual award for outstanding work among the firm’s employees is a graphics by István Orosz, personally selected by András Szecskay.
