“Agri-Food Market Regulation” Analysis – Hungary Chapter by Anikó Keller

As part of recently published collection on “Agri-food market regulation and contractual relationships in the light of Directive (EU) 633/2019”, Anikó Keller has contributed the Hungary chapter. The book describes the legal background of the agri-food chain at EU level and analyses the effects of the implementation of the directive in the individual member states.

With the 2019 directive the European Union aims to strengthen farmers’ as well as small and mid-sized businesses in the food supply chain by tackling unfair trading practices. The Hungary chapter analyses the regulation of contractual relationships in the agri-food chain in Hungary based on the EU directive as well as Hungary’s own regulation which was already in effect before the EU’s intervention.

The book which was curated by Anna Maria Mancaleoni and Raffaele Torina was published by Consumatori e Mercato and is available HERE.
